SYNOPSIS:

Until the appeal, the double punishment of a father accused of child abuse follows the struggle of a family to prove the innocence of a father accused of causing the death of his baby. A deeply moving film that reveals the cold violence of relentless justice.

Alexandre is in court for the second time. He is accused of shaking his baby 9 years ago, causing its death. In the initial trial, Alexandre was unanimously found not guilty. But the public prosecutor’s office appealed, and Alexandre is now awaiting the second trial. Since the tragedy, his whole life, and his family’s, has revolved around legal deadlines.
