SYNOPSIS:

When I met Theo, he was 20 and had just joined the army. Death seemed “unreal” to him. After a few months’ training, he left for his first operation in Mali. On December 28, 2020, Théo was caught up in the reality of war : three young soldiers, close friends of his, died on mission before his eyes. This doc retraces Theo’s decision to join the army and his attempts to overcome such a traumatic event.
