SYNOPSIS:

Behind the scenes at the World Pizza Championship in Parma (Italy), we delve into the lives of young French pizza makers aged between 20 and 25 who are preparing for this prestigious competition in various categories: Neapolitan, Classic and Freestyle! Some are already great champions. Others are just starting out. Everyone trains to give their best, surrounded by mentors, friends and family. Because pizza is their life!

This documentary series shows the challenges, hopes and dreams of six French competitors. These artisans, driven by an all-consuming passion for their work, share a common goal: to win the supreme title in the art of pizza-making. The competition takes place in an electric atmosphere, with around 500 pizza makers from the four corners of the globe rivalling with each other in skill and creativity. The series highlights the competition’s different categories: Neapolitan, for traditional purists;Classic, where innovation and original flavors take center stage; and Freestyle, a particularly spectacular category where participants impress with their acrobatics and dexterity.
