The Americans have never been to the Moon, NASA is lying, aliens are controlling us… Space conspiracy has never gone as far as it does today. According to IFOP, 15% of 16-24 year-olds think the Earth is flat. Once on the fringes, these theories are now on a large scale, particularly on social networks. On Tik Tok, videos that question the foundations of science are gaining millions of views, propelled by algorithms and the absence of moderation on this subject. In this film, we’ll try to understand the evolution of this phenomenon by interviewing those who have gone over the edge and come back, or not. For the first time, we show that science itself is concerned about the rise of conspiracy in this field.
